Hunas Falls Hotel welcomes X’mas with traditional cake mixing

Hunas Falls Hotel ushered in the festive season with a traditional cake-mixing ceremony on 4 October 2026, bringing together the hotel’s culinary team and participants in its landscaped gardens, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills.

A colourful display of cake ingredients, creatively arranged to depict Christmas bells, ribbons and holly alongside the Hunas Falls name, took centre stage at the event, reflecting the culinary team’s creativity and festive spirit.

Wearing chef hats, red aprons and Christmas caps, participants gathered around the mixing table to prepare the traditional Christmas cake blend. The participation of children and a special appearance by Santa Claus added a cheerful, family friendly touch to the celebration.

The ceremony highlighted a much loved Christmas tradition that begins well ahead of the festive season, as ingredients are prepared and mixed in anticipation of Christmas cakes. It also gave participants an opportunity to share in the experience, turning the preparation into a lively occasion centred on togetherness and seasonal cheer.

Set against the hotel’s scenic mountain surroundings and vibrant gardens, the event offered a distinctive setting for this cherished tradition. The cake-mixing ceremony marked the start of Christmas celebrations at Hunas Falls Hotel, bringing together festive flavours, shared experiences and the spirit of the season.
